2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Power & Handling
Two engines power the 2020 Outlander. The first is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque, which is available on the ES, SP, and the SE. Powering the GT is a potent 2.4-liter four-cylinder that provides 168 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque. Both engines come standard with front-wheel-drive, but all-wheel-drive is an available option. The engines connect to a smooth sailing continuously variable automatic transmission.
2020 Chevrolet Equinox Power & Handling
Like the Outlander, the Equinox comes with two different engine options. Standard is a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that is matched with a six-speed automatic transmission. A more powerful turbocharged engine is also available, and it's a 2.0-liter, which is optional on all trims. As with the Outlander, front-wheel-drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is optional. The most significant difference is in fuel efficiency, as the fuel capacity of the Equinox is less than that of the Outlander.
