Enhancing Mitsubishi's full-size SUV model, the 2018 Outlander PHEV debuted last year and immediately became a sensation.  Today, it's the world's best selling plug-in hybrid SUV thanks to one of the most advanced all-wheel control systems. The Outlander PHEV is adventure-capable blended with the energy efficiency to give you 74 MPGe and power to even tow up to 1,500 pounds.  Its full-time, high-output twin electric motors mounted at both front and rear axles enhances the performance of the Outlander PHEV's 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for torque on demand whenever the power of all-wheel drive is needed.  This combination supplies drivers with 117 horsepower and 137 lb-ft of torque, combining for a total mileage range of over 300 miles. For nearby tasks, you have the option to use absolutely no gas for up to 22 miles thanks to this system's 12 kWh lithium-ion battery.  Recharging options are provided either with the vehicle's standard 120-volt outlet (eight-hour recharge) or with a 240-volt house installed line (4-hour recharge). Additionally, DC Fast Charging capabilities can restore the battery to eighty percent charge in about 25 minutes!
