Trim Levels of the 2020 Mitsubishi Sport

By West Loop Mitsubishi

Since its inception, Mitsubishi has done a terrific job making improvements to the Outlander Sport, and in 2020 this is the best iteration of the SUV ever! For starters, it's packed to the brim with safety and infotainment features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the Outlander Sport is available with all-wheel-drive so you can get more traction on slick surfaces. Perhaps the best part of the Outlander Sport is the warranty as it is one of the best in the business. Four trim levels are available for the Outlander Sport. Take a trip with us as we break down each one!

ES

The ES starts off the trim list with features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lights, heated mirrors, automatic climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and a height-adjustable driver's seat. Tech features for the ES include Bluetooth, a rearview camera, a four-speaker audio system with a USB port, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The ES has the option of a Convenience package that adds satellite radio and voice controls, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Under the hood, the ES, as well as the SP and SE, come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque that pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive comes standard, but all-wheel drive is optional.

SP

Stepping up to the SP gets you the Convenience package as standard and adds some visual updates in the form of a spoiler and a blacked-out grille.

SE

With the SE comes a ton of active safety features including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning. Also coming standard are foglights, automatic headlights, proximity entry, and push-button start. You also get more luxury items such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a six-speaker audio system.

GT

Rounding out the trim lineup is the GT and it comes with a brand new engine! It's a strong 2.4-liter four-cylinder that provides 168 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque, which also connects to the continuously variable automatic transmission. As for features, the GT adds to the extensive list with an upgraded upholstery and a few new exterior aesthetics to set it apart from the rest of the class.
